A more long term cooperation was agreed upon after the first projects because of the many projects which needed to be completed after the first term. In the first place, my services are required for the reorganization of the entire NMBS/SNCB group, but also for several other side projects. After the first 3 months, ICTRA renewed my contract for a year to function as Exchange/Lync Architect. This because of the fact that my division, UCP, recently gained the full responsibility of the whole Exchange and Lync back-end. So now I'm responsible for planning and implementing RFI's, RFC's, updates and upgrades on the Exchange and Lync servers. In parallel, I also still provide 3d line support.

System Engineer @ NMBS/SNBC Holding (ICT for Rail)
A mission of 3 months at NMBS as 3d line Engineer for Microsoft Exchange and Lync in an environment with 30.000 users. The Exchange environment consists of 12 servers in a fully redundant DAG using Hardware Load Balancers. The Lync environment consists of 1 Enterprise Pool with 2 Front-End servers with mediation (connectivity to Alcatel and Siemens PBXes using AudioCodes Media Gateways), providing Presence/IM/AV Conferencing/Enterprise Voice for 1.500 users (as pilot).

Site survey, installation and configuration of a new AeroHive installation using several access points and HiveManager Online. The purpose was to provide WLAN access to De Punt employees towards the De Punt VLAN. Several clients of De Punt have also requested WLAN access and have been given access to their VLAN using a dedicated SSID.
